I am a Parent/Carer

We want you to feel confident in your ability to identify what services will be most beneficial to your child, and importantly how to go about accessing these services. We also want to ensure that you are involved in the support, to whatever extent you feel is appropriate. We are always open to hearing the views of parents and carers to improve our way of working.

Benefits of the Preparation for Adulthood Programme for you

A key focus of this programme is to improve outcomes not only for children and young people, but also families, parents and carers. It is important that you feel fully equipped and supported, when supporting your child. One of our methods of working will be in the form of family conferencing, ensuring you have the ability to voice any concerns or feedback regarding the effectiveness of services your child receives.
