Overview

This course is Day 3 of a sequence of SENCo induction sessions being held throughout the year. It is designed to provide those new to the SENCo role with an understanding of the strategic responsibilities in the SENCo role.

Who is it for?

This 1 day course is specifically designed for newly appointed SENCOs in Birmingham who are learning the role.

Course Outcomes:

To have an understanding of:

• Accurate SEND data – range of tools
• Analysing data to identify needs
• Planning provision to meet needs
• Monitoring impact of provision
