We are offering a ‘Chill and Chat’ session to families of children with complex disabilities to come and have a cuppa, and chat through any questions they may have about their child’s needs. This session is based at Weoley Castle Community Childcare hub and is completely free! We will also be inviting external professionals to the sessions based on parents needs and wants! A poster is attached and we’d greatly appreciate you forwarding on to any parents you feel may benefit!
Alongside this we are now offering After School Clubs at our Touchbase Pears site! These are for children 0-8 with complex disabilities and their families to come and have fun in an inclusive, accessible space! The sessions are free to all and sign ups can be made via the website. A poster is attached and we’d really appreciate your support in forwarding this on to families who might benefit.
Our Discover Our Service sessions are a chance for children and families to access our support before committing to a targeted support session. Targeted support sessions are weekly communication, interaction or play sessions, designed to help families and offer techniques and support in these areas. Families will receive session packs, and gain a better understanding of their child’s needs from these sessions. A poster for these sessions is attached. Please send to any families who are not currently receiving support term time in the school day and may benefit from these sessions.
