Bring it on Brum

Description

Bring it on Brum! is Birmingham’s Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme, funded by the Department for Education to support school-aged children, especially those eligible for benefits-related free school meals, during the school holidays. It offers free holiday club places across the city where children aged 4–16 years old. They can take part in a wide variety of activities, including indoor and outdoor games, sports, fitness and dance, cookery skills, arts and crafts, quizzes, park activities and nature trails , alongside other enriching experiences. Every session includes at least one healthy meal, helping promote good nutrition and wellbeing, and the programme also provides at-home activity packs and occasional food boxes for those who can’t attend in person. The initiative aims to make holidays more fun, active and engaging while reducing childcare pressures on families and helping young people learn, play and socialise in safe, supportive environments.
