In Birmingham we have a range of specialist inclusion teams who support you and your child or young person aged 0-25 with Special Educational Needs or Disabilities (SEND).
Our services work together across the north, south, east and west of the city.

Communication and Autism Team
Advisory teachers & Autism Advisory Practitioners for children and young people with communication needs including autism.
Early Years Inclusion Support
Specialist teachers and practitioners who provide teaching and support for babies and pre-school children (under five years) and their families.
Educational Psychology Service
A team of professionals who are trained to understand how children and young people learn and develop.
Physical Support Service
Specialist teachers for children and young people with physical and medical needs.
Pupil and School Support
Advisory teachers for cognition, learning and specific learning difficulties.
Locality Team
The Locality Team is a group of professionals that supports schools and families in the Special Educational Needs of children and young people.
SEND Therapists
A team who provide advice and support within the locality/district areas around children and young people with Occupational Therapy and Speech, Language and Communication needs.
