Ackers Adventure is a Birmingham charity that provides outdoor adventure activities for children, young people, families, schools, and community groups. Based on a 75 acre site, the organisation offers a wide range of activities designed to build confidence, develop new skills, and encourage people to be active and enjoy the outdoors.
Activities include skiing, snowboarding, canoeing, kayaking, climbing, archery, bushcraft, and team-building experiences. Ackers Adventure aims to make outdoor activities accessible to people of all ages and abilities, with experienced instructors and inclusive programmes to support participation.
The charity works with individuals, families, schools, and community groups, providing opportunities to improve physical wellbeing, develop independence, build resilience, and make new friends in a safe and supportive environment.
