Birmingham County FA’s Disability Football programme offers a broad range of inclusive and accessible football opportunities for people of all ages and ability levels across the county. They’re committed to developing flexible playing pathways from grassroots right up to elite levels, supported by a dedicated Football Development Officer. The programme includes pan-disability leagues and recreational sessions like the Comets Disability Football Programme for young players, Just Play sessions and mental-health focused groups, plus England Football Disability Recreation Centres and girls-focused Disability Wildcats activities. They also promote participation in national competitions such as The FA Disability Cup and pathways to represent England through the FA Disability Talent Programme, and support clubs with Disability Football Ambassadors to grow local opportunities.
