Birmingham PHAB Camps

Description

Birmingham PHAB Camps is a voluntary charity that organises holiday camps and adventure weeks for children of different age groupings between 8 and 16 from Birmingham. The aim of the holidays is to integrate disabled and non-disabled children from throughout Birmingham, bringing together children of all abilities so they can share an amazing week away together and create lasting friendships.

The camps take place in specialist accessibility outdoor centres across the UK and include a wide range of exciting activities and days out. All children from Birmingham are welcome to apply no matter their background or ability.

Most of the holidays are a week-long and cater to all disabilities. We also run four day trips a year specifically for 8 - 10 year olds. Our volunteers provide round-the-clock personal care, medical needs and emotional support, offering parent's a week's respite, and disabled children the opportunity of a life time, mixing with non-disabled children and having the best fun week of their year!
