Participants will:
- Develop a broad understanding of Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus and their impact in a mainstream primary school setting.
- Recognise key medical, mobility, continence, sensory and learning needs linked to these conditions.
- Understand the school’s duty to make reasonable adjustments and promote equality of opportunity.
- Identify practical strategies to support safe access, participation, independence and inclusion.
- Consider how to support pupils across the school day, including learning, personal care, lunchtime, play, PE, visits and emergency procedures.

This will be an interactive session, and participants may be invited to engage through the chat function, microphone and/or video, or other interactive tools such as Mentimeter. Participants may also be asked to complete a short pre-training questionnaire, so please allow time to complete this before the session.
