Our Special Angels
Description
Our Special Angels provides specialist respite and short-break sessions for children and young people aged 5–16 with SEND. These sessions run during weekends (Saturday and Sunday) from 11:00am–4:00pm and throughout the school holidays, giving children opportunities to socialise, take part in enjoyable activities and develop new skills within a safe and supportive environment.
Our Special Angels also provide term-time day-care activities for young adults aged 16–35 with SEND, running from 10:00am–3:00pm. These sessions focus on developing independence, life skills, communication, social interaction and community participation.
Activities include sensory play, arts and crafts, cooking, music, exercise and community outings. Support is tailored to each individual following an initial assessment.
